Let's be real, If you want meaningful results, you have to practice moving better at least 2-3 times per week. If you want to see me 2-3 times a week in person, that's great. If you don't, however, no problem! I will write you a customized home program based on what we're working on in person (members only).

The cost of incorrect form is twofold. First, you're not getting the benefits of the exercise. Second, you're likely to hurt yourself. You need someone who can help you nail down your form and technique so your strength training becomes a worthwhile investment. I can help you do that.

Frequently Asked Questions

We've Got Answers

You’re not alone. Many people just like you are curious about the process, and exactly how working with a personal trainer in San Francisco can help. Look through some of our most common questions — you might be wondering the same thing.

Of course, it depends on what your goals, but generally training 2-3 times a week (which can be a combination of at home and in my office) will yield significant results.

I recommend budgeting $175-$275 for home equipment. This will cover the cost of Ultimate Sandbags, bands, and sliders.

Yes, but NOT via zoom! Instead, I send my online clients customized home workout plans with hyperlinked video lessons. This way you can workout when you want, and pay a much lower premium than you would for an hour of my time.

If you are a local client, however, I recommend taking advantage of my in person/online hybrid membership options. With these options, we meet either 2 or 4 times a month in person and, based on what we worked on, I send you a customized home workout program.

To learn more about my memberships check out my pricing page.

Membership! If you want me to design your home workouts for you which include hyperlinked video lessons, you need to sign on to a training membership (3 month minimum commitment).

If you are unsure if you want to commit to the membership, consider starting with a couple drop ins. I am convinced that after a couple drops ins, you’ll be certain you’ll want to do the membership.

If exercise has made your body worse in the past, its because either (1) you weren’t given well designed exercises (I see this ALL the time – even in physical therapy settings) or (2) somebody pushed you too hard. This happens when a personal trainer focuses on workout intensity instead of identifying movement deficits and correcting them.

When you come in for a session with me we’re going to carefully identify your movement weaknesses and only move you forward as quickly as your abilities will allow. Anything else is a recipe for long and short term problems.

Yes to all. I’ve helped clients with every musculoskeletal condition and I can help you too.
