Ben Beeler - Male Massage Therapist In San Francisco

Hey there! If you found this page, it’s because you’re one of the many people googling “male massage therapist in San Francisco,” “masseur,” or something like that. This page is mostly for SEO so you can find me.

It’s funny, because when I graduated from massage school, my teachers warned me that it would be much tougher to find work as a male massage therapist. They said that women were in higher demand because they were “safer” or “attractive.” Well, that hasn’t been my experience in this industry! Many people are looking for a male massage therapist in San Francisco.

Here are some reasons people search for a male massage therapist:

1. They feel more comfortable working with a male massage therapist. It doesn’t really matter why, but some people are actually more comfortable with a male therapist.

2. They think male massage therapists provide more pressure.  We’ve all had that massage before when the therapist uses too much lotion and zero pressure. In order to avoid this, some people choose male massage therapists whenever possible. That said, I’ve had crappy massages from both men and women so I’m going to avoid commenting on whether this is generally true.

3. They’re looking for a male massage therapist who is a sex worker in disguise. There’s a whole handjob industry out there hiding under the massage therapy industry (unfortunately). If that’s what you’re looking for, you are in the WRONG place. Please look elsewhere.

Are you looking for a male massage therapist in San Francisco who can give you a killer deep tissue massage and keeps things strictly professional? I invite you to come in, I’d love to meet you!

Male massage therapist San Francisco
Hi, I'm Ben and I'm a male massage therapist in San Francisco.

A quick word about the term “masseur” and “masseuse.” I know many people use these terms without understanding that they are considered derogatory in our industry. Masseur and masseuse are generally used to refer to sex workers, not massage therapists.  When you are seeking legitimate massage therapy, I recommend avoiding these terms and instead using the term “massage therapist.” I am not a masseur, I am a massage therapist.
